					Great stay. The place is simply but adequately furnished and enough consumables to get started. The beds were comfortable, the shower fantastic. Great access to Saltburn, Staithes and our favourite, Runswick bay. Lots of local dining opportunities, but be warned, the portions are generally huge. Would come again.

					Staithes View is  beautifully secluded cottage with good views of the sea and wooded hillsides, cosy interiors and spacious layout with comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen and utility room. The cottage was very clean throughout with a fabulous shower in the double room en-suite. It was easy to find with Dawn’s directions, and made a great base for exploring this part of the North York Moors and coast. Dawn and Max were very welcoming and helpful hosts. We would certainly stay again!

					Dawn and Max are great hosts, plenty of information and on hand if anything was needed. The cottage has a homely feel and all the basics needed. The shower is so powerful - it was a shock! The surroundings are lovely, lots of birds and wildlife and easy access and parking. We stayed during a heatwave and we were very glad that there was a fan! Would stay again and would like to explore the local area more.

					We had a lovely time at the cottage, we’ve been before so felt at home straightaway. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves. We both relaxed immediately. The location is quiet and peaceful but near enough to the amenities of the beautiful North Yorkshire coast and countryside. And what a stunning view over Staithes. Lovely.Dawn and Max are very friendly and helpful, and had recommendations of where to go for food etc. We had a couple of meals at the local pub which were delicious. There are also some great walks from the door. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will probably go back.Thank you very much Dawn and Max for letting us stay in your cottage.

Our cottages offer the perfect base for discovering the glorious coast, Victorian seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Saltburn, and the fabulous North Yorks Moors steam railway - which was a prime location for the Harry Potter movies - the Hogwarts Express hurtled down its tracks.
